This list has been in operation since February 1994 but only the messages since we installed the new system on June 10 1997 are recorded. Since that time there were a total of 2378 messages which averages to 7.6 messages a day. The number of messages on the list is very variable and ranges from 0 to a high of 35 messages a day. The content of the messages can be broken down into 4 main categories:

Since June 1997, many clinical topics were discussed on the list. The following table lists 274 clinical subjects that were discussed during this time period. In addition to these clinically related topics many social issues effecting neurology and medicine were discussed as well.
